In the January / February issue

ORANGE JUICE
The recent freeze remains the main market driver at present with the next USDA crop report expected to be reduced. Other influencing factors include; EU demand, signs of slowing imports to the US, the size of the Brazilian crop and the bloom for the 2010/11 crop in Florida.

APPLE JUICE
The apple juice concentrate market has stalled in Europe and there is practically no trading at all at the moment.

LEMON JUICE
Argentina, the main exporter, is completely sold out due to a severe freeze which hit the crop last year.

GRAPE JUICE
The 2010 grape crop has just started in Argentina – the key global exporter.

GRAPEFRUIT JUICE
According to local processors in Florida there was only very limited damage to the grapefruit groves from the recent freeze.

PINEAPPLE JUICE
The Thai winter crop is seen as average, but there were a backlog of orders to be met by the packers and the competition for fruit supply is still strong.

MANGO JUICE
The Indian mango juice market has reportedly seen strong sales over the past two months. Meanwhile, processors in Colombia are seen as sold out.

PASSIONFRUIT JUICE
The recent peak production period in December was disappointing, but the market is hoping that the March/April peak will herald the start of a better supply phase.
BRAZIL - OJ - EXPORT
Export of OJ in 2009 (reported as concentrate) from Brazil was up 0.7% at 1.29 million tonnes, according to customs data released recently.
